Brenton Center FacilitiesThe Brenton Center, established in 1995 through private gifts to the College of Agriculture, is a high-technology instructional center that extends the educational offerings of Iowa State beyond ISU's physical campus. On August 21, 1995, classes began in the Brenton Center and consumers of educational programs in agriculture began harvesting the fruits of seeds planted in 1988. The Brenton Center's state-of-the-art educational facilities can serve as your on-campus location for seminars or conferences, or as the origination site for distance education offerings delivered by: 1) IP Video Conferencing; 2) videotape; 3) CD-ROM; 4) DVD; and 5) streaming video. The staff of the Brenton Center deals with the technology concerns, allowing the instructor to focus on content and learning. When you need a resource for agricultural continuing education, the Brenton Center at Iowa State University is your logical choice. Whether you need a fully equipped media classroom for face-to-face learning, an origination site for distance education modules, or a production facility for transforming an ISU instructor's presentation into a digital curriculum, the Brenton Center can help.
